Northern Peru Surfari - All Year Round

The Northern coast of Peru gets waves all year round, north swells hit the peruvian coast all through november to march while south swells get there through march to november.

Most of the surfing is done in a 100 km stretch in northern Peru spanning from Punta Redonda and Mancora in the North to Organos and Cabo Blanco in the middle, and Lobitos in the south.

The northern coast climate is warm year round with slightly windy conditions in the afternoons during winter (march to november). Despite the warm weather, water temperatures may vary considerably according to the swell direction.

Tours are private group tours catering to between 2 and 6 surfers + guide, but sometimes Wavehunters will offer consolidated tours where individuals may join up with other individuals or small groups.

Beaches:
There is a wide range of northern beaches that break on different swells varying levels and types of break.
Beach breaks:
Peña Redonda, El Golf, Los Muelles.
Point breaks:
El Ñuro, Mancora, Lobitos.
Reef breaks:
Cabo Blanco, Organos, Panic Point, Piscinas, El Hueco, La Frontera, Baterias.
